Candlewood Soccer Academy  is a program dedicated to the development of the area's best soccer talent.  We are motivated by desire to provide advanced training to our top athletes through professional coaches and trainers and a dedicated group of volunteers.  Before CSA our best atheletes were leaving town programs to advance their skills, most often at great expense and definitely at great loss to their towns.  In the worse cases, top athletes were leaving the sport entirely because advanced training could only come through "for profit" clubs.  CSA exists to provide the training these top atheletes deserve, bring lost athletes home, and do it a as low a cost as possible to ensure no more leave the sport we love. CSA is a registered premier club with the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA).

Operating Principles: 

CSA will provide advanced training and premier league opportunities and experience to its best soccer talent.  It will focus on those who truly want to advance their play with a desire to reach their personal best and prepare themselves for the next stop in their soccer careers, whether it is High School, College, or the highest levels of premier.  It is not a place for those not willing to work hard to advance.  Game time is earned, not guaranteed.
