	Full field competition in Trumball - 11 v 11

Sign-up now for full field competition this winter at the Trumball indoor complex.

Coupled with the training sessions we offer in gyms and at the New Milford small field at CT Sports Arena, it is the best preparation for the spring season start.

7-8 games will be played beginning Sunday, February 21st. Each game is one hour long. The start times will be announced closer to the 21st, but typically are between 11am and 2pm.

The cost is $175 per player and space may be limited. Please sign-up early. From those registered with checks received, we will announce the final team at the end of January.

Referee Program

The SCNM sponsors a referee program to ensure that the quality of our program will be enhanced. In addition, we feel by ensuring that our referees are well trained, we'll have qualified referees within New Milford for our home games. If you currently have a referee’s license and are interested in officiating for the SCNM, or are 12 years of age or older and want to find out more about qualifying to be a referee, please contact the SCNM Referee Coordinator . Referee certification will be available online starting in July 2008. A field certification test will be required after completing all of the online course examinations.

Mission Statement:

Candlewood Soccer Academy is a program dedicated to the development of the areas best soccer talent. We are motivated by desire to provide advanced training to our top athletes through professional coaches and trainers and a dedicated group of volunteers. Before CSA our best athletes were leaving town programs to advance their skills, most often at great expense and definitely at great loss to their towns. In the worse cases, top athletes were leaving the sport entirely because advanced training could only come through "for profit" clubs. CSA exists to provide the training these top athletes deserve, bring lost athletes home, and do it a as low a cost as possible to ensure no more leave the sport we love. CSA is a registered premier club with the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA).

Operating Principles:

Success is achieved through teamwork and development of top class athletes. Player selection is extensive and fluid. Individual contributions of performance are recognized and rewarded. Playing time is earned not guaranteed.
